Rainy Garden Tuesday

White pines in the rain.

It's amazing how fast they've shed their dead needles with all the rain we've had in the past week.

We don't have many pines on our property, but we have acorns... LOTS of acorns...

I didn't know that white pines shed their needles. It is a rainy day here, too.

Looks beautiful and peaceful! I have never had Shrimp Scampi before, but I will be trying it soon!

I always get sad when it rains. Good thing it doesn't do much here!

Thats some great free mulch for any acid loving plants you may have. I like to use it for my blueberries and rake it up from the neighbors white pines across the road.

Nice shot....I wish that pines didn't shed.

Sigh ... white pines. Must smell delicious. (We do all kinds of bad things out here with 9 inches in 36 hours, but I think your town is built to take it?)

I also have pine that shed a lot of their needles, it's pretty messy at the moment. Yours definitely look neater :)

If one more person tells me how much we needed the rain, I may just be jumping from one of those white pines. I suppose it's a heck of a lot better than, do I dare say the S word:)

New England has been hit with a ton of rain! It's dry as a bone down here--send some our way :)

Great pic of the pines.
